The College of Saint Benedict invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit eligible position of Assistant Director of Residential Life.
The Assistant Director of Residential Life at the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) oversees housing operations to support the four-year residential experience. This includes managing room assignments for new and returning students, resolving student issues in collaboration with staff, and coordinating with campus partners on assignments, room changes, and facilities. The role also involves overseeing all housing facilities and operations, including renovations, repairs, new construction, and technology, as well as developing departmental materials and managing policies and procedures. Reporting to the Director of Residential Life, the Assistant Director plays a key role in strategic planning for Residential Life and the student development division.
Serving approximately 1300 women residents in six residence halls and 13 campus apartment buildings, the Residential Life staff includes a director, assistant director, five live-in residence directors, 40 paraprofessional resident assistants and community advisors, and 8-9 student office assistants. Professional staff members build close connections with students through daily interactions, campus events, and community involvement.
